Τwitter

twitter in 60 seconds

Ü *Benchfly: To educate and empower scientists in and out of the lab, enabling their next big breakthroughs –
faster.

Ü *Not Exactly Rocket Science: Not Exactly Rocket Science is [Ed Yong's] attempt to talk about the awe-inspiring, beautiful and quirky
world of science to as many people as possible.

Ü Retraction Watch: Tracking retractions as a window into the scientific process

Ü The Postdoc's Forum

Ü Adventures of an inquiring mind

Ü The bird's brain: Kirsten Sanford, a PhD scientist (Neurophysiology) who somehow escaped from the lab and is now making [her] way in independent Science media and journalism. Check out [her] bio page here.

Academic and Research life

Ü *Mind the Gap: Jenny Rohn. By day: cell biologist at UCL. By night: novelist, broadcaster, science writer, sci-lit-art pundit and Editor of LabLit.com. I blog about my life in science, not the facts and figures.

Ü The tree of life: Blog of Jonathan A. Eisen,
evolutionary biologist, microbiologist and genomics researcher, Open Access and Open Science advocate, recovering Harvard/Stanford alum, cyclist, Academic Editor in Chief of PLoS
Biology and Professor at UC Davis

Ü *Fumbling Towards Tenure: a tenure-track assistant professor in the neurosciences

Ü Professor in training: an assistant professor in the biomedical sciences

Ü Reportergene:I do research on nuclear receptors (CV, interview). I have a passion for molecular imaging.

Ü DrugMonkey: an NIH-funded researcher
who blogs about careerism in science. And occasionally about the science of drug use.

Ü The MolBio Hut: We post and discuss what we think are interesting and important papers, websites, tools and news in molecular biology, for the community to check out and comment. We will also talk about life as a scientist, things we consider interesting or noteworthy, or just about anything that piques our interest.

Ü *NeuroDojo: Associate Professor in Biology at The University of Texas-Pan American.

Ü *RRResearch: To ερευνητικό ιστολόγιο της Rosie Redfield, group leader.

Ü RRTeaching: To εκπαιδευτικό ιστολόγιο της Rosie Redfield.

Ü Sandwalk: The Sandwalk is the path behind the
home of Charles Darwin where he used to walk every day, thinking about science. You can see the path in the woods in the upper left-hand corner of this image. Larry Moran is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the University
of Toronto.

Ü ScienceGeist: We are a couple of scientists, chemists in fact, and have decided to delve into the world of science policy! It is our opinion that good policy is the direct result of a

PhD life and beyond

Ü 27 and a PhD: Accounts of my old life as a grad student, and my life after completing the PhD. Finished my PhD in 2009, landed a postdoc. Decided the
tenure-track (TT) wasn't really for me. After a crazy and exhaustive job search during the first half of 2011, I landed my first real job in my area of training.

Ü Blogging the PhD: PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Imperial College London, where my research is on the development of statistical methods to use genetic data in the estimation of disease risk.
