Requirements

Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology or closely related field
Master’s degree preferred but not required
Certified as a Medical Technologist by the state of NY
4+ years of experience required, 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
Prior experience with Cell Therapy

Job Description

Join the team in our growing Cellular Therapy laboratory, and oversee highly specialized, time sensitive cell manipulations and testing procedures as the Laboratory Supervisor. Step into a dynamic environment of constantly shifting needs and priorities, and use your ability to manage and enhance quality.

In this role, you will lead timely processing and release of cellular therapy products from the laboratory, while training and supervising a talented, nationally certified, and engaged team of professionals. You will ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Good Tissue Practice (cGTP) requirements, while also maintaining multiple laboratory accreditations and certifications, as part of the quality assurance team for the department.

The Laboratory Supervisor is also responsible for writing and maintenance of technical and administrative SOPs. You will ensure staff compliance, and develop initiatives that foster high performance and quality.
