Description:

Responsible for the planning and directing of the professional and non-professional activities of the laboratory in two (2) acute care hospitals. Overseeing and coordinating all technical aspects of the laboratory. Experience is needed in working with medical staff, administration, and nursing departments.

Shifts: Day
Salary: $105K-135K

Requirements

Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology or closely related field
Master’s degree preferred but not required
Certified as a Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathology or equivalent
4+ years of Laboratory Director experience required
Prefer experience of working at two or more hospitals
Must have a solid job history and provide explanation for any gaps in employment
